The Union Public Service Commission was expected to release the UPSC 2024 admit card for the prelims exam in the last week of May but it was not released as per the timeline. The Commission mentions in its official notification that the UPSC admit card will be released three weeks before the exam date.

The UPSC Prelims exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 28 but it was postponed because of the General Elections in the Country. The Commission released a notice regarding the postponement of the Civil Service (IAS) Prelims exam on March 19, 2024.

In case the exam is further postponed, the Union Public Service Commission will release a notice on its official website in this regard. The candidates should wait for any such official announcement. Till the official announcement, the candidates should assume that the UPSC Prelims 2024 will be conducted on June 16, 2024. 

How to Download UPSC Admit Card 2024?

The Commission is expected to release the UPSC Admit Card 2024 soon on its official website. The candidates can see below the steps to download their UPSC admit card 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC (http://www.upsc.gov.in/).

Step 2: Click on the Admit Card link available on the Home page of the website.

Step 3: Read the instructions given on the page and click on the Yes button.

Step 4: Click on the link, "Forgot RID'

Step 5: Enter the following details:

  • Name
  • Father's name
  • Mother's name
  • Date of birth
  • Captcha code as shown on the screen

Step 6: Click on Submit.
