CRET 2024 registration is ongoing till August 12, 2024, in online mode at allduniv.ac.in for Allahabad University PhD admission 2024.

University of Allahabad (UoA) has started CRET 2024 registration for PhD admission at the university. The CRET 2024 exam will be conducted for 47 subjects having 1182 seats out of which 764 seats will be available at the university department/ centres while the remaining 418 seats will be available in constituent colleges of Allahabad University. The Allahabad University CRET exam 2024 will be conducted in offline mode at Prayagraj only. 

The NET/JRF students are required to appear for the CRET level 1 and 2 examinations for PhD admission. Besides, students applying through the Teacher candidate category also have to fill the CRET application form 2024. 

Allahabad University CRET 2024 Exam Pattern 

Level 1 of the CRET 2024 exam will consist of two papers whereas paper 1 will have 50 objective-type questions of 2 marks each. The 25 questions will be from research methodology while 25 questions will be subject-specific. Note that there will not be any negative marking in CRET 2024 examination. 

On the other hand, paper 2 shall be a subjective paper with small, medium and long answer-type questions. The total marks in CRET 2024 exam will be 300 and the exam duration will be of two hours and 30 minutes. 

CRET 2024 Exam Fees 

The application fees of the CRET 2024 exam for unreserved, OBC and EWS candidates will be INR 1800 while SC, ST and PwD students have to pay INR 900.

The admission process of Allahabad University is inclusive of multiple steps such as registering on the official website or the website of the admission conducting body or exam. Followed by applications, candidates are required to go through the selection rounds, such as entrance exams. Allahabad University offers a three-year BCA programme in the field of Software and IT. Admission to BCA is subject to a valid score in the university-level entrance exam namely CUET-UG followed by counselling. Candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the university, which is, the candidate should have passed Class 12 with Mathematics (Science group) from a recognised board or equivalent. Aspirants who fulfil the requirements are able to apply online on the official website.

Allahabad University accepts CUET scores for admission to the UG courses and the CUET application process is usually concluded between January and March. Candidates seeking admission to the UG programmes at Allahabad University must fill out the CUET-UG application form through its official website by paying the required application fee.

A:

Candidates seeking admission to BCA at Allahabad University are required to have appeared in the CUET UG exam conducted by NTA. Allahabad University offers a three-year full-time BCA programme in self-financed and general mode. This programme is spread over three years and six semesters. To be eligible for this course, students must have completed their Class 12 with Science or Commerce stream. In case the student has passed Class 12 from a recognised board other than the Science/ Commerce, they must have studied Mathematics/ Statistics/ IT/ CS/ Information Science as one of the subjects in their Class 12. Final selection to BCA, is subject to CUET UG.
