BHU admission 2024 for the mop-up round is ongoing for admissions for the remaining 1000 UG and 1700 PG seats even after four rounds of admission and one spot round at Banaras Hindu University.
Banaras Hindu University is conducting the admission process for several undergraduate and postgraduate courses through a mop-up round counselling process. The BHU UG mop-up round counselling process is ongoing till September 20, 2024, up to 11:59 PM. Interested and eligible candidates can register for the UG and PG admission by paying the BHU UG registration fee 2024. A non-refundable fee of INR 500 shall be paid to ensure admission to Banaras Hindu University.

Students can follow the below steps to apply for BHU mop up round counselling:
Step 1: Visit to the official website, bhu.ac.in.
Step 2: Search for Mock Up Round counselling link and click on it.
Step 3: Enter login credentials and click on submit.
Step 4: Complete the application form and submit all the documents and pay the fees.
The university has conducted four rounds of UG admission and one spot round at Banaras Hindu University. However, even after five rounds of counselling, about 1000 undergraduate course seats are still vacant across different specialisations. Besides, approximately 1700 seats are still vacant in different specialisations in postgraduate programmes. The authorities are expecting to fill all the remaining seats through BHU mop up round counselling 2024.

Yes, to apply for BHU BSc (Hons) course, candidates need to register online for CUET-UG. From 2022, the BHU-UET exam is replaced with this exam. Based on the merit of candidates' performance in the entrance exam, candidates are then required to register separately for the counselling round. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted CUET-UG entrance test from May 21 to Jun 23 and the result was declared on Jul 15.
