CUET Counselling 2024: DU UG CSAS Phase 2 Closing Today; Simulated Ranks on Aug 11

CUET DU CSAS 2024 phase 2 will end today. Candidates have last chance to enter the college and course preferences online. Candidates will not be able to modify, delete or add the college and courses once the window is closed.

University of Delhi will close the window for CSAS UG 2024 phase 2 today at admissions.uod.ac.in. Candidates who have appeared for the CUET 2024 must enter the course and college preferences for admission to UG courses offered by DU. Candidates will not be able to add or delete the college and course preferences once the window is closed. On selecting the course candidates must check the CUET subject mapping criteria to be eligible for the admission process. Du has closed the DU CSAS UG 2024 registrations. Only candidates who registered on or before August 04 will be able to enter the preferences.

DU CSAS UG 2024: Steps to Enter College/Course Preferences

Candidates must follow the steps below to enter the courses and colleges preferences of DU:

Step 1- Visit the DU CSAS UG 2024 portal: ugadmission.uod.ac.in

Step 2- Enter the login details:

  • CUET application form 2024
  • Password

Step 3- Click on the tab ‘Application Phase 2’

Step 4- Update CUET subjects with the subjects studied in class 12th

Step 5- Check the programme eligibility to apply for

Step 6- Enter the course and college in order of preference

Step 7- Preview the order of preferences added

Step 8- Submit the preference selection

What after DU CSAS 2024 Phase 2?

Once the DU CSAS 2024 phase 2 is over, DU will release the simulated ranks of the registered candidates. The CUET 2024 simulated ranks will be displayed on the candidate’s dashboard. These ranks are not warranty or creation of a legitimate expectation or as final ranks for allocations of a program of study or college/department/centre whatsoever. After the declaration of CUET simulated ranks, in case a candidate wishes to update/ revise/ add/ delete/ reorder any preference, he/she may do so at this time. The candidates must, however, “save” their preferences at regular intervals. Only the saved preferences will be used for regular allocation.

Q:   Can I get other colleges from CUET counselling that I haven't listed on my application?

A:
Hi, No, you cannot get into colleges that you have not listed in your counseling application. 1. The CUET counseling process is done after the exam to allot colleges to qualified students in participatory universities. 2. Once the CUET exam results are announced by the NTA the respective Central Universities will declare their counseling schedule. 3. You will be required to participate in the counseling process at your preferred university. The university will assign you to a college based on your score and preferences. 4. If you have not listed any college, you will not get a seat allocation in that college even if you meet the qualifying cutoff. And if it helps you like it.

Q:   Who is eligible to register for CUET-UG counselling?

A:
CUET Qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in CUET counselling. The eligibility criteria for CUET UG are:
  • Student must have at least 50% in their 12th grade for the general category and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates must have taken up subjects in +2 depending upon the course they opt for.
  • Candidates must be of Indian nationality.
Candidates must carry their Class X, Class XII, and CUET scorecards for the CUET UG 2025 counselling process. They must also bring other necessary documents, such as:
  • Qualifying examination certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Conduct certificate
  • Caste certificate
  • Reservation category certificate
  • Photocopies of original documents

Q:   Who conducts CUET UG counselling?

A:

The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities. 

Q:   How to apply for counselling after CUET?

A:

After obtaining the CUET results, candidates will be able to apply for CUET counselling for various participating universities. To apply for CUET UG counselling, candidates can follow the process below;

  • Register for the CUET cousnelling process on official website of participating university
  • Fill the CUET UG admission application form like CSAS UG for DU, BHU UET application form for BHU and so forth.
  • Upload the CUET UG scorecard or enter the marks obtained in the eligible subjects
  • Declaration of admission status/ CUET cut off
  • Visit the university for verification of documents and pay the admission fee

Q:   Is CUET UG counselling conducted in a centralised manner?

A:

No, CUET UG counselling is not conducted in a centralised manner. The counselling or the admission process is conducted separately for each institute based on their own eligibility and admission criteria. Candidates who will appear for CUET 2025 will be required to check the selection criteria and other admission details of their preferred colleges individually to be able to make the correct decision. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conducting counselling process for CUET UG admissions.
