The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the CUET PG 2025 registration in online mode. Students who are willing to appear for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) examination can fill the application form from exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG.
Recently, the CUET PG 2025 exam duration has been shortened from 105 minutes to 90 minutes and the applicants now will have to attempt all 75 questions in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Along with that, several other changes has been implemented by the authorities this year for CUET PG examination. CUET PG 2025: Key Changes
Students can check the CUET PG 2025 major changes from below:
- NTA has released the CUET PG application form 2025 at exams.nta.ac.in/cuet-pg. However, last year the application form was released on pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
- The CUET PG 2025 application fee has been increased by INR 200 compared to last year. Candidates belonging to general category have to pay INR 1,400 while OBC NCL/ EWS candidates have to pay INR 1,200 as the application pay.
- This year, the application fee to appear for additional test papers has also been increased by INR 100. Now, for each extra test paper, the students will have to pay INR 700, instead of INR 600.
- The CUET PG 2025 exam duration has been shortened from 105 minutes to 90 minutes for each test paper.

The CUET PG 2025 exam cities have been increased. As per the 2024 result notification, the CUET PG CBT exam was held in 572 different centres in 253 domestic exam cities whereas the CUET PG 2025 exam will be held in 285 domestic exam cities. However, few media sources have reported that the domestic exam centres have been reduced for session 2025.
- The CUET PG 2025 exam cities have been expanded internationally. Last year, the examination was held in nine cities outside India whereas in 2025, the examination is scheduled to be held in 27 cities outside India.

The CUET PG 2025 exam pattern has been amended for the academic session 2025-2026. The exam duration has been reduced to 90 minutes from 105 minutes for all question papers.

NTA, National Testing Agency has released a public notice mentioning the recommendations received by the expert committee for the CUET PG 2025 examination. The exam officials have proposed the change in the exam duration, pattern, and many more.
The General Paper will be redesigned by the exam experts to cater to skill-based and certain professions based on UG knowledge acquired by the candidates so that the CUET PG 2025 participating universities can use it for programmes in those areas.
