CUET UG 2023: Tezpur University invites applications for UG admissions

Tezpur University has invited online applications from eligible candidates who have appeared in the CUET (UG)-2023 examination for admission to UG programmes of the University. 

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the link: https://www.tezuadmissions.in by paying the application fee cum counselling fee of INR 600 per candidate (INR 300 for SC, ST, and PWD candidates). The last date to submit the application is June 25, 2023.

"Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who have appeared the CUET (UG)- 2023 examination and can upload the CUET(UG) score once the results are declared," reads the official notification.

Admissions are open for Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics), Integrated M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Life Science (with a provision of lateral exit as per NEP-2020), Integrated M.A. in English (with a provision of lateral exit as per NEP-2020), Integrated M. Com (with a provision of lateral exit as per NEP-2020), and Certificate in Chinese.

Sports quota: The University reserved 5 seats (both UG and PG) with not more than one seat per Department on a supernumerary basis for the candidates with medals in National/International sports events. However, they will have to satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Defence quota: Up to 5% of the approved seats are reserved for the widows/wards/wives of Armed Forces personnel and Ex-Servicemen as per the priorities set by Govt. of India.

The payment of the fee is to be made ONLINE using credit card/debit card/net-banking options only. The transaction details may be printed and preserved for later reference. It is to be noted that the submission of the application form will remain treated as incomplete until the required application cum counselling fee is transferred successfully.

An applicant may apply for a maximum of three (03) programmes, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria, by paying a single application cum counselling fee. Candidates applying for multiple programmes must specify their preferences for the programmes carefully while filling in the application form.

Documents needed for Tezpur University UG programmes

Documents to be uploaded include - a passport-size photograph, scanned copy of the signature, all academic transcripts (Certificates & mark sheets), a copy of the relevant category certificate issued by the competent authority, if seeking admission under any reserved category, copy of the Sponsorship/No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the employer if the candidate is employed, separate undertakings for the category and appearing qualifying examination, a certificate issued by Defence authority that the candidate is the widow/ ward/wife of the Defence personnel as per the Priority set by the Govt of India, relevant certificate(s) as evidence of winning medal(s) in National or International sporting event(s), if any.
