The CUET UG 2024 exams will be conducted in hybrid mode (CBT and Pen and Paper) at 380 examination centers, including 26 outside India. This year, approximately 13.48 lakh students are expected to take the exams.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently announced the release of admit cards for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) (UG) 2024, scheduled to be held on May 15th to 18th, 2024. However, this release has been met with some concerns from candidates, particularly regarding the visibility of examination center locations on the admit cards.
Arya, a candidate for CUET UG 2024, expressed her frustration, stating, "I'm sorry, but it's not reflecting the location on the site even tho it's already past 8 P.M., please clarify if we are referring to the same time zone." Another candidate echoed similar sentiments, highlighting issues with the display of the examination venue on the admit card. "Same problem I am facing too mate, Rest of my exams location is showing but not in the case of English. It was showing that they will clarify by 8 PM, tonight but they haven't till yet," they remarked.
Sanjeev Tyagi also shared his concern, emphasizing that the venue for the English exam scheduled for May 15th was not updated on his admit card. "Paper is on 15th and here our NTA advised us to download the admit card on 14th eve. Hats off," said Aakarsh, another CUET UG candidate, expressing dissatisfaction with the process.
In response to these concerns, the NTA released a public notice on May 13 regarding the release of the CUET (UG) 2024 admit cards. The notice reiterated that candidates should download their admit cards on May 14th evening to ensure any changes in the examination center due to administrative reasons are reflected.
The NTA also emphasized that the admit card is issued provisionally, subject to the fulfillment of eligibility conditions, and will not be sent by post. Candidates were advised not to mutilate the admit card or change any entry made therein. Furthermore, the agency encouraged candidates to preserve a copy of their admit card for future reference.
Candidates experiencing difficulties in downloading the admit card or finding discrepancies in the details were urged to contact the NTA Help Desk or write to the NTA directly for assistance.
