The CUET UG 2024 exam was conducted on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29, 2024, marking the first time the test took place in a hybrid mode (Computer-Based Test and pen-and-paper).
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 within the next couple of days, with the likelihood of it being published today. Although the results were initially anticipated on June 30, they have not yet been announced, leaving many students eagerly awaiting updates.
Speaking to Shiksha.com, University Grants Commission Chairman Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar stated that the NTA is diligently working on the CUET UG 2024 results and will announce the result date as soon as possible. He reassured students that the NTA is focused on ensuring an accurate and timely announcement of the results. Prof. Kumar emphasized the NTA's commitment to transparency and precision, noting that the delay is due to their efforts to release an error-free answer key.
The CUET UG 2024 exam was conducted on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29, 2024, marking the first time the test took place in a hybrid mode (Computer-Based Test and pen-and-paper). This year's exams saw a significant turnout, with 9,68,201 students sitting for the test out of the 14,90,293 registered candidates, including 6,60,311 female students. The exams were conducted across 379 locations nationwide, and scores from this exam will be accepted by 261 universities for their undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Following the release of the provisional answer key, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections if necessary. The answer key will be accompanied by the question papers and candidates' responses, allowing for a thorough review process. The NTA aims to address any objections promptly to ensure the final results reflect the most accurate assessment of students' performances.
The delay in the release of the results has caused anxiety among students, who are eagerly waiting to know their scores and future academic prospects. However, Prof. Kumar assured that the NTA is making every effort to expedite the process while maintaining the integrity of the results. Students are advised to regularly check the official NTA website, exams.nta.ac.in, for the latest updates on the answer key and result announcements.
As the educational community waits for the CUET UG 2024 results, the focus remains on ensuring a fair and precise outcome for all candidates. The release of the provisional answer key, expected today, marks a significant step towards this goal, providing students with the clarity they need to move forward in their academic journeys.
