CUET UG Admission 2023: What After DU CSAS First Allocation of Seat?

Delhi University released the CSAS UG 2023 DU first merit list on August 01, 2023. Candidates who have completed the DU CSAS UG 2023 registration process have been provisionally allocated seats on the basis of the preference entered. Know what happens next. 

 

Delhi University released the first CSAS 2023 DU merit list on August 01, 2023. Candidates can check their first allocation of seats on admissions.uod.ac.in. Candidates must note that it is the sole responsibility of the candidate to check the seat allocation. Candidates who have been allocated seats in Delhi University College can accept the offer by August 04, 2023, for the first merit list. Check below to know what happens next.

DU Merit List: Last Date of Acceptance

Candidates can accept the first allocated seat till August 04, 2023 (4.59 PM). Candidates must ensure to accept the seat to get admission into DU College.

DU Merit List: What After Accepting the Allocation?

After candidates have accepted the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the candidate’s eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidates. The college will verify the following within the stipulated time:

• Minimum Eligibility of the candidate.
• Program-Specific Eligibility of the Candidate.
• Subject Mapping: Only those CUET 2023 UG Language and/ or Domain-specific papers in which the candidate has passed Class XII will be considered.
• Validity and authenticity of Documents/Certificates submitted by the candidate.

In case of approval, candidates must pay the DU admission fee by August 06, 2023 (6 PM)

In case of rejection, candidates must respond online through their dashboard within the stipulated time. Failure to respond to te queries will lead to rejection of the DU fist allocated seat and candidate will not be able to participate in subsequent DU counseling rounds.

At the time of online verification, if an application gets rejected, the College will state the following reason/s:

• Non-fulfillment of the Minimum Eligibility by the Candidate.
• Not-fulfillment of Program-Specific Eligibility by the Candidate.
• Non-fulfillment of the subject-mapping criteria.
• Invalid documents/certificates submitted by the candidate.
• Failure to respond to the query(ies) raised by the College within the stipulated time.

DU First Seat Allotment: How to Appear for Second DU Counselling Round?

If candidates wish to participate in subsequent rounds of DU CSAS UG 2023, he/she must accept the seat allocated in the DU first merit list. Inactivity/no action will be taken as non-acceptance of the allocated seat and the candidate will not be able to participate in subsequent rounds. The second DU CSAS UG 2023 Allocation List will be released on August 10, 2023.
