Delhi University (DU) has released the admission data based on the first round of counselling. In round 1 counselling for DU UG admission 2024, more than 46,000 seats have been secured by students out of a total of 71,600 seats. DU UG admission 2024 round 1 allocation witnessed 83678 total acceptances out of 97387 total allocations. 46171 admission confirmed while 11224 admission freeze and 27613 students opted for freeze.
DU is set to commence classes for the 2024-25 academic year on August 29. Earlier, the session was expected to commence on August 1 but was delayed due to the postponement of Common University Entrance Test results.
The authorities will publish the list of vacant seats on the candidate's portal in order to carry on the DU round 2 counselling process 2024. During this period, students will be allowed to change the order of preferred college and course combination. The authorities will open the DU UG preference change window on August 22, 2024, and it will be continued till August 23, 2024, by 4:59 PM. The last date for online payment to secure DU UG 2024 admissions in the second round is August 30 (up to 4:59 PM).
Delhi University is conducting UG admissions in three phases i.e. registration, filling programme and college combinations, and seat allocation. Through CSAS, DU will fill 71,600 UG seats in various undergraduate disciplines.
