Delhi University will begin the spot round counselling registration for undergraduate course admission for the remaining seats today, i.e. September 18, 2024. As per the official notification, Delhi University has confirmed 72,263 admissions till September 15, 2024. Students who will complete the the spot round registration before the deadline will be able to check the seat allocation result on Septmber 21, 2024. Further, the selected students will have to accept the allotted seat between September 21 to 22, 2024.
DU UG Spot Round Counselling 2024: Important Note
Students must be mindful that DU spot round counselling process 2024 does not allow students to 'Upgrade' or 'Withdraw' facility. The seat allocated in a particular spot admission round will be final and not be upgraded in any subsequent round.
Q: Does DU offer 1 year LLM?
No, Delhi University offers a full-time LLM programme of two to three years duration at the PG level. This course is offered by Faculty of Law under DU. University of Delhi LLM admission is conducted in online mode and for final selection, candidates are required to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university. CUET PG exam is conducted by NTA and considered by DU for admission to LLM course. Candidates after completing graduation can apply for DU LLM programme.

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.
However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).
