GITAM University Celebrates 15th Annual Convocation; Honors 1218 Graduates

GITAM University 15th annual convocation was held at the Bengaluru campus where 1218 Graduates were given titles at the premises. 

GITAM Deemed to be University celebrated its 15th annual convocation ceremony at the Bengaluru campus. The event was organised to celebrate the achievements of 1218 students graduating from GITAM. Sudhanshu Mani (Engineer of Vande Bharat Express,) M Sribharat (President of GITAM Deemed to be University), and  Dayananda Siddavattam (Vice-Chancellor of GITAM Deemed to be University) were presented at the event. 

Gold medals were awarded to outstanding students in order to celebrate their achievements and academic performance. The achievements from several domains including Technology, Science, and Management. Further, an honorary doctorate degree was awarded to Leela Samson, renowned dancer and Padma Shri recipient and Anand Malligavad, the "Lakeman of India" known for his water conservation efforts.

M. Sribharat, President of GITAM (Deemed to be) University, highlighted the importance of a student-centric approach, stating, "At GITAM, we are committed to providing a 360-degree learning experience. Our mission is to create an environment where students can find their ikigai, pursue ground-breaking research, and emerge as compassionate, skilled professionals ready to make a difference in the world."

GITAM Deemed to be University, established in 1980 is a renowned university having 12 schools of education. The university has multidisciplinary research campuses in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam.
