IISc Bangalore: Applications open for Assistant Project Engineers

The recruitment portal will be open from July 15, 2023, to August 13, 2023, up to 11:59 pm. Interested candidates must apply at iisc.ac.in and upload the certificates to support their claim for educational qualifications, age, community, disability, experience, NOC and others (if any) on or before August 13, 2023.

The educational qualifications required are B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 60% marks.

8 years of experience as an AE or an equivalent post in Govt/Autonomous bodies/PSU with a grade pay of INR 4600 (7th CPC Level- 7). However, those serving/served as Assistant Engineer on regular employment or on deputation at the Institute for at least 8 years with B.E./B. Tech and exemplary service records can apply [Age limit not applicable]. 

Desirable experience includes experience in handling large construction projects and knowledge of Computer-aided Design (CAD) and the latest Management Technology/other relevant software applications.

The posts of Assistant Project Engineer (Civil), Assistant Project Engineer (Electrical) and Site Engineer (Civil), Challakere Campus are also suitable for Physically Handicapped candidates with disabilities viz. Orthopedically Handicapped/Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy with One Leg Affected (Right or Left) (OL) or One Arm Affected (Right or Left) (OA) and Hearing Impaired.

Relaxations in age are applicable to Persons with Disability, SC, ST, OBC-NCL candidates and ExServicemen as per Govt of India norms as applicable to the Institute. Maximum age (including all categories) relaxation is up to 55 years for all the posts.
