IISc Bangalore: MTech students get selected for Shell Fellowship 2023

Three MTech students of IISc Bangalore are selected for the Shell Fellowship Program 2023.

The Chemical Engineering Department of IISc Bangalore announced that 3 MTech students got selected for the Shell Fellowship Program 2023. They will be interning with Shell in the summer and working on a Shell-IISc collaborative project for their MTech research.

Chemical Engineering, IISc tweeted, "We are delighted to share that 3 of our MTech students got selected for the @Shell Fellowship this year. They will be interning with Shell in the summer and working on a Shell-IISc collaborative project for their MTech research. Congratulations and all the best!"

International Conference on Photonics

The Biennial Photonics Conference will be organised at IISc, Bengaluru on July 5 to July 8 July 2023. It will cover vast technical areas within the photonics community. Attendees will be able to participate in Plenary Sessions, Invited Talks, Panel Discussions, Tutorial Sessions, Doctoral Symposium and the Industry Interactions, across the conference’s topical areas.

IISc Bangalore: More Updates

CySecK is offering FDP on Network Security for Engineering College Lecturers in association with the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering (DESE), IISc Bengaluru. It is rescheduled between July 24 and July 29, 2023, at the IISc Challakere campus.

The FDP is for faculty member working in an Engineering College or Institution in Karnataka who is currently teaching or is interested in teaching Cybersecurity. 

Key features and application details include training by academic and industry experts on the following sub-domains of network security- TCP/IP Stack and Network applications, DNS and Web Applications Security, Wi-Fi networks and Security and Cryptography. There is no application fee for the programme.
