IISER Entrance Exam 2025 Notification Out
IISER 2025 exam notification releases for admissions to the five-year BS-MS dual degree and four-year BS degree programmes. IISER Entrance Exam 2025 will be conducted on May 25, 2025, to test candidate's domain knowledge for the courses offered by IISERs. Interested applicants will be able to fill out the IISER 2025 application form from March 3, 2025 onwards. Candidates will be given a month's timeline to register themselves on the official website and complete the application process by paying the IAT 2025 application fees.

For the academic session 2025-2026 IISER entrance exam 2025 will also provide admissions to BTech course which will be only offered at IISER Bhopal.
IISER 2025 application form last date will be April 15, 2025, on the official website ie.,iiseradmission. Candidates will be allowed to correct the incorrect details filled by them while filling out the application form. IAT 2025 Application Fee
The application fee is to be paid by the applicant during the submission of the application form. The application portal shall open on March 05, 2025.
- INR 2,000/- for candidates applying under General, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories.
- INR 1,000/- for candidates applying under persons with disabilities (PwD), persons registered as Kashmiri Migrants/Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrant) and SC/ST category.
- INR 12,000/- for candidates applying under Foreign National category.

Applicants must be Indian nationals, OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals to apply for IAT 2025.
- The candidates must have passed the Class XII (or equivalent) examination with science stream from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India.

Candidates should have been born on or after October 01, 2000. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e, these candidates should have been born on or after October 01, 1995. Note that, there is no restriction based on the completion year of Class XII.
- Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.
The exam is being held annually which determines admission to IISER campuses in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati. Programmes offered by the participating IISER institutions are Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth & Climate Sciences/Earth & Environmental Sciences, Economic Sciences, Engineering Sciences (Chemical Engineering, Data Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science), Geological Sciences, Integrated & Interdisciplinary Sciences (Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences), Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.

Q: What are the documents required for filling up the IISER 2025 entrance exam application form?
Given below is a list of documents/certificates whose scanned copies are to be uploaded at the time of online application for IAT 2025. The formats of the certificates are given in the Annexure.
- Class 10 certificate
- Class 12 (or equivalent examination).
- If the class 12 (or equivalent) marks sheet is not available now, then you can instead upload a signed declaration form mentioning : DECLARATION BY THE CANDIDATE IN LIEU OF ELIGIBILITY EXAM CERTIFICATE/ MARKSHEET SEE Annexure). Fill up the form, sign it, scan it and then upload. The scanned copies of the actual marks sheet must be uploaded on or before July 7, 2025, failing which you will not be allotted a seat in any of the IISERs.
Q: Does the passport-sized photograph have to be colored or black and white while uploading it in IISER 2025 application form?
Candidates were advised to upload a scanned copy of their passport-size photograph which should be either coloured or black and white. The photograph should be in white background and 80 per cent face (without mask) should be visible. The image file should have been in JPG or JPEG format and within 200 KB dimension.
