IISER Admission 2023 online registration started on 15th April 2023 through online mode. A candidate can apply through any one or two or all the three channels, provided they satisfy the overall eligibility conditions. Read the complete article for complete details.

IISER opened the IISER 2023 online registration portal for the academic session 2023-24 on April 15. Interested candidates can fill the online application form till May 25, 2023. IISERs offer admission into courses leading to BS-MS Dual Degree, and BS Degree (only at IISER Bhopal) Programs. Admissions are via IAT Channel, KVPY Channel and JEE (Advanced) Channel.  A candidate can apply through any one or two or all the three channels, provided they satisfy the overall eligibility conditions and specific eligibility conditions for those channels. Candidates seeking admission through IAT channel must appear for a computer-based IISER Aptitude Test (IAT-2023). IAT-2023 will be conducted on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 9:00 AM, at various centres across the country.

How to Fill IISER Entrance Exam 2023 Application

Below is the process given for how to fill IISER 2023 online application form 

• Step 1: Visit the website https://iiseradmission.in/ 

• Step 2: Click on online register link.

• Step 3: Fill up the details asked in application form correctly.

• Step 4: Upload scanned images as per the instructions mentioned.

• Step 5: Pay the application fees through payment gateway provided.

• Step 6: Submit application form and take its printout.

IISER Entrance Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Before applying for IISER entrance exam 2023 online application form candidates must go through the eligibility criteria which is provided here:

• Applicants must be Indian nationals or PIO or OCI in order to apply through KVPY or JEE (Advanced) or IAT channels. Candidates who are NOT Indian nationals or PIO or OCI can apply for admission only through the JEE (Advanced) channel. 
• Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) exam with science stream in 2022 or 2023 from any board recognized by Council of Boards of School Education in India COBSE. 
• Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD should have scored a minimum of 55 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam. Candidates belonging to other categories should have scored a minimum of 60 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam.

IISER Entrance Exam 2023 Application Fee

IISER entrance exam 2023 application fee for various categories are as follows:

•  INR 2,000/- for candidates applying under General, EWS and OBC-NCL categories. 
•  INR 1,000/- for candidates applying under persons with disabilities, persons registered as Kashmiri migrants and SC/ST category. 
• INR 8,500 for foreign nationals. 
•  Application fee is non-refundable.

 

IISERs conduct an entrance exam in order to provide admission to candidates in the five-year-long BS-MS dual degree programme offered by them. On the basis of a candidate’s score in the IISER entrance exam (also known as IISER aptitude test), he/she can secure admission at IISER located in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, or Tirupati. Candidates who cleared their Class 12 in the Science stream are eligible to apply for the IISER entrance exam 2023. As per the IISER entrance exam pattern, there are a total of 60 objective questions that candidates need to complete in three hours duration.
