IIT Guwahati Released IIT JAM 2023 First Admission List at jam.iitg.ac.in

IIT JAM 2023 first admission list has been released today by IIT Guwahati at jam.iitg.ac.in. Candidates have to submit the online payment fee for enrolling in the IIT JAM first admission list by June 7, 2023. Read the article to know the complete details.

IIT JAM 2023 First Admission List Released

An Applicant will be considered for admission only to the programme choices filled in the IIT JAM 2023 Admission Form. Based on the order of preferences given by the candidate in the Admission Form and corresponding ranks in the Merit List, the First Admission List has been prepared and released by IIT Guwahati on the official website of IIT JAM 2023, i.e, jam.iitg.ac.in.

IIT JAM 2023 First Admission List has been released today. Candidates need to pay the online fee payment for seat booking for the first Admission List in the IIT JAM 2023 Admission Process by June 7, 2023. IIT Guwahati started the IIT JAM 2023 Online Application process for admissions in ITTs and NITs on April 11 on its official website. The last date for applying for the admission process was April 25 which was later got extend to April 27.

There will be four rounds of admission, in the normal case. If seats remain vacant, additional rounds may be conducted. Applicants receiving an offer in any of the rounds are required to login at the official website within the stipulated time and choose one of the three options viz. (a) Accept and Freeze (b) Accept with Upgrade (c) Reject and Quit. Based on the order of preferences given by the candidate in the Admission Form and corresponding rank(s) in the Merit List.

IIT JAM 2023 Admission Process Important Dates

Below are the important dates for the IIT JAM 2023 application process for admissions in IITs and NITs:

IIT JAM 2023 Counselling

Applicants to IIT JAM 2023 counseling process need to proceed with the following steps:

• Applicants who are offered seat in the First Round must login to Candidate Portal and choose one of the three options discussed above on or before June 7, 2023.
• If seats remain vacant after the first round of admission, a Second Admission List will be prepared on or before June 15, 2023. The candidates who chose Accept and Upgrade in the previous round are required to login to the portal to view their current seat allocation.
• Applicants who are offered seat in the Second List must login to Candidate Portal and choose one of the three options discussed above on or before June 21, 2023.

The Applicants who were offered a seat can CANCEL the offer by logging into Candidate Portal and choosing "Withdraw". This option would be available from June 15 to July 2, 2023. The Seat Booking Fee (if paid by them) would be refunded after deducting a Processing Fee of INR 1,000/- by August 15, 2023.

Offer letters from the admitting Institutes will be available for downloading by the candidates through Candidate Portal, after the final round of admissions. The Applicants who are offered a seat should report to the Admitting Institutes along with the required documents, as per their offer letter.
