IIT JAM 2024 exam is concluded now. Earlier the first shift of the IIT JAM exam was conducted between 9:30 to 12:30 and the second shift of the exam was held between 2:30 to 5:30 P.M.
This year IIT JAM exam is held in more than 100 exam centres in India. According to estimates around 80 to 90 thousand applicants can appear to participate in the IIT JAM exam this year.
According to the applicants who appeared in the exam this year, the exam was more difficult than last year for various subjects. The questions were descriptive and lengthy instead of the shorter and direct types of questions in the previous year's exam.
The questions from sections A & B were easy in comparison to section C, which includes NAT questions. So, the IIT JAM 2024 expected cutoff this year can be less than last year.
Today the first shift exam of IIT JAM was conducted for Chemistry (CY), Mathematics (MA), and Geology (GG) subjects. The second shift exam was held for Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH) subjects.
