IIT JAM 2024 First Shift Conducted; Check Exam Analysis and Students Reaction

IIT JAM 2024 first shift concluded at 12:30 P.M. across various centres in India. This year IIT JAM is conducted by IIT Madras for 8 courses. The IIT JAM exam time for two shifts is 9:30 to 12:30 and 2:30 to 5:30. Around 80 to 90 thousand applicants are expected to take the exams today. 

The first shift IIT JAM exam was conducted for Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), and Mathematics (MA) subjects. According to the students the IIT JAM 2024 exam can be considered as Moderate to Difficult from the previous year level of exam. There were fewer direct questions and more questions were lengthy. 

The exam is being conducted in online mode across more than 100 centres in India. 

The second shift exam of IIT JAM will be conducted for Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH) subjects. 

Applicants who appeared in the exam can expect that the provisional answer key of IIT JAM 2024 will be released tentatively within 10-12 days after the conclusion of the exam. 

Authorities will declare the results of IIT JAM 2024 on March 22. The result will be declared based on the correct answer key. The IIT JAM total marks of applicants will be released along with the declaration of the result.
