A total of 10 vacancies are open for the posts of Assistant and 6 vacancies for Junior Personal Assistant.
ISRO has notified about 16 vacancies of Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant. The last date to fill out the application form is March 31, 2024.
The educational qualification requirement for both the profiles is Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognized University, with a pre-requisite condition that Graduation should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University and proficiency in using computers. Other requirements for the posts of Junior Personal Assistant include a minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography, a Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognized Board/University, with a pre-requisite condition that the Diploma should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University, one-year experience as Steno-Typist/ Stenographer, a minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography.
Out of the above 16 vacancies, 2 posts are reserved for Ex-Servicemen (Ex-SM) and 1 post is reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability-Lower Vision. If PwBD candidates are not available for any identified category (i.e. LV), other categories of PwBD candidates will be considered against the aforesaid vacancies. If other categories of PwBD candidates are also not available, it will be filled with UR and the PwBD reservation will be carried forward.
The age limit of the candidates should be between 18 to 28 years as of March 31, 2024. The application fee is INR 100. Initially, all applicants have to uniformly pay INR 500/- as an application fee including candidates belonging to fee-exempted categories (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS). However, Candidates belonging to the fee exemption category (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS) will be refunded the full application fee, if he/she attends the written test and UR/EWS/OBC candidates will be refunded INR 400/-, if he/she attends the written test. The Application fee will not be refunded to all those Candidates, who fail to attend the written test. Candidates are required to furnish correct bank account details with IFSC code in order to get refund while filling online application. All fee-exempted categories except women are required to upload the relevant certificate (SC/ST/PwBD/ExS) to get a refund.
