JMI commences Ideation Centre activity for ViksitBharat@2047

A total of 11 students from all the academic units participated in the event accompanied by 4 faculty members for an interactive session on ideas of young minds to achieve this goal of Viksit Bharat.

Faculty of Dentistry Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) visited the Ideation Centre set up at JMI’s FTK-Centre for Information Technology and enthusiastically shared their ideas on their vision of ViksitBharat@2047.

The students expressed their confidence and optimism for realizing the vision of “ViksitBharat@2047”. A total of 11 students from all the academic units participated in the event accompanied by 4 faculty members for an interactive session on ideas of young minds to achieve this goal of Viksit Bharat.

The main focus of the students remained strengthening healthcare, mainly the primary healthcare centres and awareness of oral hygiene. They also emphasised the importance of research and cutting-edge technologies to achieve the coveted goals. Apart from this the young minds felt that holistic development through inclusion of all sections of the society involving women empowerment, economic advancement and infrastructural development.

The opinions were presented by Rizwana Praveen, and Asra from the interns batch, Ahmad Umar, Sara Fatimah, Ishita Singh and Aditi from the final year, Dhruv and Salman from the third year and Shakeel, Mehreen and Ayush from 2nd year. The students were accompanied by Dr. Panchali Batra, Dr. Faiz Akram, Dr.Sweta Rastogi, and Dr Tabassum from the faculty.

PM Modi launched ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’ via video conferencing on December 11. During the program, he addressed the Vice Chancellors of Universities, Heads of Institutes and faculty members in workshops organized at Raj Bhawans across the country to mark the beginning of this initiative.
