Madras High Court has ordered the postponement of KVPY 2021 exam over regional language concerns.

KVPY Exam 2021 Date postponed?: The Madras High court has ordered the postponement of the KVPY exam 2021 over regional language concerns. The postponement was ordered while hearing a petition regarding regional language concerns. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited. The public interest litigation filed at Madras HC states that the national level fellowship examination in science must also be held in regional languages. Presently, the aptitude test is conducted only in English and Hindi. On October 25, a division bench of Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice M. Duraiswamy directed the Centre to consider conducting KVPY in multiple Indian languages. To which, Centre replied that there is a scarcity of adequate personnel to assess answers in various languages. KVPY Exam 2021 date may likely get postponed. Candidates must wait for the official confirmation from the conducting body.
