Lucknow University Collaborates With CDRI for Mutual Exchange Programmes

Lucknow University in association with CDRI will train postgraduate and research students, conduct faculty exchange programmes and enable exchange of instrumentation.

Lucknow University (LU) has joined hands with the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) with a motive to conduct several exchange programmes for postgraduate and research students. 

The Lucknow University spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava said that Central Drug Research Institute has collaborated with Lucknow University for collaborative research programmes in several fields of interest. For extramural funding such as the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), a collaborative project submission will be submitted by Lucknow University and CDRI, as reported by edexlive.

"The collaboration will conduct numerous training sessions for research scholars as well as postgraduate students, along with instrumentation sharing and faculty exchange programmes." The spokesperson further said.

Prof Alok Kumar Rai, Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University and Prof Roman V Gorbunov, Director of the Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas signed a Memorandum of Understanding for collaborative initiatives. The tenure of this aforesaid MoU is five years and will also include research projects, conferences and workshops, as reported by Hindustan Times. 

Further, Lucknow University admission process 2024 is ongoing for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Students willing to fill Lucknow University UG forms 2024 can register on or before May 31, 2024, while the online application process for PG students is ongoing till June 10, 2024.  The Lucknow University 2024 application fee for UG courses ranges between INR 400 to INR 800, while the application fee for PG courses ranges between INR 500 to INR 1600 depending on the category opted for by the students while filling the application form.
