NEST 2022 Application Process Begins on February 23

The NEST 2022 application process has started on February 23 on the official website of the exam. Due to technical reasons, there was a delay of two days in releasing the online application form of NEST 2022. The original date of the application process commencement was February 21. The last date to submit the application form is May 18, till midnight. Here we bring the details of the NEST 2022 application process.

Pre-requisites for NEST 2022 Application Process

Since the NEST 2022 application process is completely online, applicants must ensure the following system requirements before proceeding with the application form.

• The recommended internet browsers include Google Chrome (version 73 to 96), Mozilla Firefox (version 78 to 95) or Internet Explorer (version 10 to 11).

• The browser history/cache should be cleared before filling the form.

• Photograph and signature in JPG format of file size within 80 KB.

• Class 10 Board exam Roll Number.

How to Apply for NEST 2022

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to complete the application process for NEST 2022:

• Visit the official website of NEST 2022 – nestexam.in

• Click on the ‘Online Application’ tab.

• Enter personal and academic details like name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email address and Class 10 Roll Number.

• Click on ‘Register’ to complete the registration process.

• Login credentials and application form link will be sent to candidates’ email id. The credentials will also be sent to their mobile number via SMS.

• In the application form, enter personal details and educational qualifications, enter exam city preference and upload passport size photograph and signature.

• The last stage is to pay the application fee of INR 1,200 (General, OBC, General-EWS) and INR 600 (SC, ST, PwD, J&K Supernumerary and all Female candidates).

The exam will be conducted in an online mode on June 18 in two slots. The duration of the exam is 3.5 hours. The exam will be conducted in 103 cities across India. NEST or National Entrance Screening Test is conducted jointly by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. The NEST Exam is conducted annually to offer admission for Integrated MSc programmes.
