Plaksha University Launches Dixon IoT Lab for Innovation in IoT Research

This announcement reaches close on the heels of the Punjab Police signing an MoU with Plaksha University to employ Dixon IoT Lab for research and innovation so that road safety and sustainable transport practices can be employed in Punjab. 

Plaksha University inaugurated the Dixon IoT Lab in collaboration with Dixon Technologies (India) Limited. The lab is created to initiate advancing research and innovation in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT). Further, the IoT lab will help to get affordable and scalable IoT solutions in collaboration with industry partners. The lab will focus on capacity building for training and enabling a comprehensive deployment of IoT along with sensor prototyping, edge computing, PCB design tools and precision measurement equipment.
