Over 90 students from more than 35 schools across seven states participated in the Young Thinkers Forum Summer Programme 2024 held at the university’s premises.
Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence successfully concluded the Young Thinkers Forum (YFT) Summer School Programme 2024. The weeklong residential program was held at the university premises with the participation of over 90 energetic students from classes 8 to 12. Young talented students across seven states from 35+ schools participated in the programme with major representation from the National Capital Region (NCR).
Several sessions of creative writing, data science, mathematics, sustainability, and entrepreneurship were engaged in the programme. Faculty members of Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence delivered expert presentations on various subjects to foster a deeper sense of complicated topics and exciting multimedia sessions and discussion groups were organised to promote critical thinking.
Students also participated in daily sports and yoga sessions, and a conducted tour of the biodiversity park provided insights into environmental conservation.
Students Celebrated World Environment Day
The students also celebrated World Environment Day with a variety of activities, including watching a virtual forest, a nest-making activity by the HCL Foundation, pottery by the School of Fine Arts, and much more.
Vinnie Mathur, chairperson of the Young Thinkers Forum at Shiv Nadar University expressed her enthusiasm saying “The Summer School Program showcased the incredible progress and development of students. Their project presentations and interactive sessions revealed impressive creativity and problem-solving capabilities.”
The Young Thinkers Forum was lately honoured with the “2024 Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia (MENASA) Recognition of Merit Award” for ‘Excellence in Innovative Practices’ at the annual NASPA conference hosted at Qatar University, Doha.
