SHUATS releases UG Merit List; Merit based counselling window also open

The Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS) has released the first UG merit list online and students who successfully applied and uploaded their Class 12 marks on time, can now check if they have made the course merit list or not. Admission to SHUATS is being done on the basis of merit. The SHIATS Entrance Exam was cancelled due to the impact of COVID-19 in India. In order to maintain social distancing and ensure the safety of the students, the varsity decided to provide admission on the basis of merit.

Students who make the merit list, can also complete the counselling session in online mode. In order to check the SHIATS UG Merit List, the candidate will have to enter their application number and see of they are eligible for admission to the course they applied for. The online counselling session is underway. The time and date of when to commence the counselling session will be mentioned on the merit list once you enter the application form and if you make the merit list.

How to Complete Online Merit Counselling

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps on how to complete the SHIATS online merit counselling process:

Step 1: The candidate will have to first visit the official website of SHIATS.

Step 2: On the home page itself, under the Admissions tab, the candidate will have to click on ‘UG Merit List’.

Step 3: Enter the application number to see if you have made the merit list or not. If you have, then you can complete the online merit-based counselling.

Step 4: The candidate will then have to click on ‘Merit-Based Counselling’.

Step 5: On clicking the link, the candidate will have to enter their application form number and query code.

Step 6: The candidate will then have to upload their documents and make the payment of the fee online.

Step 7: Once the transaction is made, the candidate has secured admission to the course applied for.
