St. Mira's College for Girls organized a six-day long International Faculty Development Program which saw participation from the teachers from Bangladesh and the Middle East.

St. Mira's College for Girls, Pune had recently organized the International Faculty Development Program, which saw participation from the teachers around the world. 

The online program was conducted by St. Mira's College for Girls from May 18, 2020 to May 23, 2020.  About 165 faculties participated including some from Bangladesh and the Middle East. 

The Principal of St Mira’s College for Girls, Pune, Dr. Gulshan H Gidwani, Vice-principal- Dr. Shalini Iyer, Iqac co-ordinator Dr. Jaya Rajagopalan, Course co-ordinator Stella Ambrose CWE co-ordinator Dr. Rama Venkatachatachalam and other in house faculty members were also present. The program was coordinated by Professor Abhradita Chatterjee Nahvi

The topic discussed on the first day of the program was 'Research Mantra – Brahmahstra for Research' where the speaker Professor Brijesh Singh, from SJB Institute of Technology, Bangalore, enlightened the participants with the knowledge of basic research, meaning, and types along with some case studies. 

The second day of the program saw discussion on the topic like How to write a review of Literature by Dr. Geetha R, HOD, Department of MBA, DSATM, Bangalore. The third-day session was on 'How to design a Questionnaire?' and was presented by Dr. Mamatha J who is HOD of the Department of MBA and Research Centre of SJBIT, Bangalore. The evening session was on 'Collection of Data and the resource person' by Professor Brijesh Singh.

The fourth day of the program started with a morning session on 'Data Analysis Methods and the resource person' by Dr. Praveen Sinha, Associate Professor from Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM), Bangalore. The topic discussed was on data analysis where the theoretical approach and various software that can be used were highlighted.

The fifth day of the program saw a discussion on topic like 'Goodness of Data' by Professor Brijesh Singh and 'Publish or Perish'  by Dr. Ramananaiah G, who are associated with SJBIT, Bangalore.

The six-day faculty development program ended with a session conducted by Dr. Anand Siddapa who is the Director of Academics at CEP Global on 'Intellectual Property Rights and How to use Mendeley Desktop for Reference Management System'.
