Student Union urges Maa Shakumbhari University for swift release of B.Ed 2nd-year result

Recently, Maa Shakumbhari University (MSU) declared the results for B.P.Ed 2nd year, M.P.Ed 1st sem, M.A 1st year, B.Ed 1st, 2nd year, M.Com 1st year, and other exams. 

All India Student's Union (AISU) has written a letter to Maa Shakumbhari University urging the swift release of B.Ed 2nd-year result. The B.Ed. IInd Year (2021-2023) exams were held in the last week of July 2023. It has been around 2 months and results are still awaited. 

"Unfortunately, the results of these exams have not been declared yet, causing significant distress and inconvenience to the affected students," reads the AISU letter.

"Students who appeared for B.Ed. IInd Year exams are eagerly waiting for their results, because they want to fill form of Chandigarh JBT in which B.Ed. IInd year result is required and the delay in the results causing anxiety and frustration among them. Therefore, I earnestly request your intervention in resolving this matter promptly," added the letter.

Passing & Division Criterion for B.Ed. course is 36% in internal & external separately and 48% in practicum in EPC & PC separately -

• First (Th) – 60% & above
• Second(Th)-48% & above
• Third (Th)-36% & above
• First(PR) – 60% & above
• Second(PR)- 48% & above 

All the courses running under National Education Policy 2020 at UG and PG level are governed by UP Higher Education Guidelines and MS University ordinance for NEP2020 under graduate and post graduate courses. These are available on university website, said the official notification.
