President Murmu Urges Faculty to Promote Research at Symbiosis International Convocation

President of India, Droupadi Murmu graced the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) 21st convocation ceremony at Pune, Maharashtra today i.e. September 3, 2024 and appreciated the establishment of 'Symbiosis Arogya Dham' - a step towards improving medical services. 

President of India, Droupadi Murmu attended Symbiosis International's 21st convocation as the chief guest of the event. The event was conducted in Pune, Maharashtra today i.e. September 3, 2024. The president addressed the students and appreciated their capability to bring positive change in the country and abroad with their skills and knowledge. 

The president urged students to comprehend the culture of different societies and regions of the country. She also added that based on this understanding, they should build software, healthcare products, and marketing approaches that help in the maturation of everyone, especially the disadvantaged sections. She stated that enterprises like Start-up India, Make in India, Skill India and Digital India will also assist them in accomplishing their goals.

The President appreciated the 'Symbiosis Arogya Dham' - a step towards improving medical assistance. She was delighted to find that Symbiosis Deemed University is functioning mobile family health clinics in the villages around the campus. The President urged professors, faculty members, and alumni of Symbiosis University to promote research in the education system and told about the National Education Policy's aim to promote research.

She further suggested students try to attain excellence in every task. She quoted 'Chase excellence and success will follow.'  She expressed confidence that they will understand the true meaning of success and fulfil their obligation to improve their and others' standard of living.
