University of Hyderabad: Apply for Distance Education Programmes by March 31

Those who are pursuing post graduate degree courses in the university, institutes/colleges can seek admission to these programmes. Students who are admitted to these programmes can also pursue full time or part time courses.

The University of Hyderabad invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to various Diploma programmes of one year duaration offered through distance/online mode.

The admission will be based on merit, professional experience and past academic record. The courses offered are - Diploma in Library Automation & Networking (DLAN), Diploma in Cyber Laws & Intellectual Property Rights (DCL& IPR), Diploma in Communicative English (DCE), Diploma in Criminal Justice & Forensic Science (DCJ&FS), Diploma in Business Management (DBM), Diploma in Project Management (DPM), Diploma in Panchayat Raj Governance & Rural Development (DPRG & RD), Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC), Diploma in Community Eye Health (DCEH), and Diploma in Telecom Technology & Management (DTTM).

The upskilling programs include - Diploma in Governance (DG), Diploma in Energy Management (DENM), Diploma in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (DAI & ML), and Birth Care Practitioner (Birth Doula) Certificate Course (BCPCC).

"Admissions to the Distance Education Diploma and UpSkilling programmes are open to all those who fulfill prescribed qualifications. Admissions are made strictly on the basis of merit. The marks obtained by the applicants in their graduate examination (i.e., B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. /B.Lib.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. / M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com. / MBAetc.) is the basis on which the merit list for admission is prepared for all courses," reads the official notification.
