Students demand NTA to announce JEE Main, NEET 2022 exam dates

Medical and engineering aspirants have taken to Twitter to request Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to declare the exam dates for JEE Main and NEET 2022 so that they can plan their preparation accordingly.  

Though the registration process for JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main 2022 is expected to begin in January 2022, while medical entrance exam, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022, is expected to be conducted in June next year, applicants want to know the exam schedule so that they can plan their preparation accordingly. However, there is no official confirmation yet from the exam conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA).

Like last year, JEE Main 2022 will be conducted in four sessions in February, March, April, and May 2022 respectively. The NTA will release the notification and information brochure for the JEE Main 2022 in January first or second week on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.  

It is also expected that the NTA will announce NEET 2022 exam dates in the second week of January 2022. For the last two years, NEET was held in September instead of May due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic situation. The NEET 2022 application forms are expected to release in the first week of February and the registration window is anticipated to last for a month. Check below what medical and engineering aspirants are saying on the social media. 

JEE Main is conducted every year for students who are seeking admissions in undergraduate engineering programmes in universities such as IITs, NITs, and other private and government colleges across the country. NEET is the only entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. NEET is conducted once a year in offline mode.
