Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the government of Madhya Pradesh will pay the full fee on the admission of daughters to medical, IIT, IIM or any institute.
The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to bear the entire fee cost of medical, IIM and IITs for the daughters of the state. Promoting higher education among females in the state, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that this initiative would be of great help for students of Madhya Pradesh in pursuing further studies.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the government of Madhya Pradesh will pay the full fee on the admission of daughters to medical, IIT, IIM or any institute. Chouhan added that the Laadli Laxmi Yojana has increased the sex ratio of daughters in the state to 956. He further said that it takes INR 7-8 lakh in a private medical college to become a doctor. The state government has decided to pay the entire fee of Ladli Lakshmi on taking admission in medical, IIT, IIM or any institute. Upon passing Class 12, Ladli Lakshmi will be given 25,000 rupees separately in two installments.

The same is planned through the Laadli Laxmi Utsav at The Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal. The CM added that if his efforts bring smiles to the faces of daughters, then his life becomes successful. He further said that his life has become successful with this initiative, and it has become worthwhile for him to become CM. The minister informed that there are 42 lakh 14 thousand Ladli Lakshmi daughters in the state.
The government has also created Laadli e-Samvad app so that daughters can communicate with the CM directly if needed. The initiative is an attempt to change the livelihood of the beloved daughters of MP.
