Suryapet government medical college issues notification for various posts

The Government Medical College, Suryapet has issued notification for the post of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Tutors of various departments of specialities, read here to know more.

The applications submission process has started today, June 1, 2022, and the last date of submission of the application is June 08, 2022. The interview is scheduled for June 14, 2022, at the office of the Principal, Government Medical College, Suryapet.

One opening is for Professor in the Ophthalmology department, and 11 openings are for Assitant Professors in the departments of Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Tuberculosis & Respiratory and Anesthesiology.

Eligibility Criteria

For the single post of Professor, the candidate must have a PG qualification MD/MS in the concerned speciality and as per TEQ Regulation of MCI (Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations 1998 including the prevailing amendments). 

The person should also have 3 years of experience as Associate Professor in the concerned subject in a recognized/permitted/approved medical college with four research publications in indexed Journals on a cumulative basis with a minimum of two research publications during the tenure as an Associate Professor as 1st Author or as the corresponding author. The person should also have MBBS and other qualifications registered with Telangana Medical Council.
