The university has been approved for admission to 50 seats under this course according to the required standards

Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh will now offer the flagship programme named as Integrated Teacher Education Programme B.A. B.Ed. course for the youth who wish to build a future in the field of teaching.

The Department of Teacher Education under the School of Education of the University has been approved and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to conduct the BA.B.Ed. course.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar described this course important for the availability of trained youth in this field as per the guidelines of NEP 2020, keeping in view the demand for specialists and professionals in the field of teaching and consequently increasing employment prospects. Expressing happiness over the availability of this course in the University, he said that it would certainly help in meeting the growing demands of trained youth in the field of school teachers.

The Vice Chancellor said that in the new course approved and recognised by NCTE, New Delhi. The work of teaching-training related to this area will be done according to practical and scientific method. According to the approval received by the University, the path of study in this course has been paved from 2023-24.

Prof. Sarika Sharma, Head of the Department of Teacher Education informed that inspection was made by NCTE in the month of November, 2022 for the approval of this course in the University. After which the university has been approved for admission to 50 seats under this course according to the required standards. She said that the process of admission to this course would be started soon and the course will start in the session 2023-24.
