On clicking on the website link, the candidate is redirected to an Industrial Research and Consultancy Centre page of IIT Bombay. The original website content is missing.
IIT Bombay on September 25 notified that online registrations for UCEED 2023 and CEED 2023 will commence on September 30, 2023. It also launched new websites for the two exams. The website contains all the information related to the exam, including an information brochure, download links for useful resources (including question papers), etc. However, currently, the website is not working for some time now.
2nd instance CEED, UCEED 2023 exam has faced issues
This is now the second instance that CEED and UCEED exam officials have goofed up things. Earlier on Sep. 22, exam officials had notified that the registration process for CEED 2023 and UCEED 2023 will open on Oct 5. 2022.
The last date to submit applications without a late fee was November 11, while with late fees of INR 500, the application submission last date was November 18, 2022.
New websites were also launched for the two exams, viz:
- CEED 2023: ceedapp.iitb.ac.in/CEED/home.jsp
- UCEED 2023: uceedapp.iitb.ac.in/UCEED/home.jsp
Retraction of earlier notification and release of new schedule
Admission officials on September 25 retracted the previous schedule and announced that applications will now commence on September 30, 2022 (instead of October 5).
The last date to submit UCEED 2023 and CEED 2023 applications were modified to October 21, while with a late fee of INR 500, applications can be submitted till October 29, 2022.
What next?
The changing of admission schedules and websites within a span of days and now the issues with the admission portal is bound to create some confusion among candidates.
For instance, will there be a further change in the admission schedule?
Importantly, candidates will be anxious to know if the exam date will be changed.
