The registrations for the SWAYAM July exams are currently underway. Candidates can visit swayam.gov.in or swayam.nta.ac.in to submit their applications.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that SWAYAM July 2021 exam dates will be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the agency who will conduct the test. UGC in its previous notification has stated that SWAYAM exam for the July 2021 semester will take place on February 4 and 5, 2022.
However, now UGC has released the revised notification and said that, “It is now informed that dates of the examination will be communicated by the National Testing Agency on its website (https://swayam.nta.ac.in)."
Another notification on the SWAYAM portal, swayam.gov.in, stated that the exams are scheduled for February, 2022 and the date sheet will be announced by the NTA later. It must be noted that the registrations for the SWAYAM July exams are currently underway. Candidates can visit swayam.gov.in or swayam.nta.ac.in to submit their applications.
Earlier this year, UGC had allowed universities and colleges to offer up to 40 per cent of the syllabus of a programme in a semester online through SWAYAM. UGC has also released the list of SWAYAM courses to be offered for January 2022 semester.
The 'Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) platform is a Government of India's Massive Open Online Course (MOOCs) platform, set up with the objective to ensure that every student in our country has access to the best quality of higher education at an affordable cost, the UGC said in official notification. It further asked the vice-chancellors of universities and college principals in the country to adopt SWAYAM courses for credit transfer and to popularise these courses among students.
