UGC requests HEIs to submit G-20 University Connect Programme reports

UGC requested all HEIs to submit reports with photographs in connection with the "G-20 University Connect Programme" on University Activity Monitoring Portal https://uamp.ugc.ac.in. Under the G-20 Presidency, it was decided that schools and higher education institutions across the country will organize special programmes - "University Connect" on G-20 themes starting from January 2023 to September 2023.

University Grants Commission (UGC) has again requested the higher education institutions (HEIs) to submit reports with photographs in connection with "G-20 University Connect Programme" on University Activitity Monitoring Portal - https://uamp.ugc.ac.in.

"You are once again requested to undertake activities/excercise starting from the month of January 2023 up to September 2023 and ensure dissemination of the issues under the ambit of India's Presidency in G-20 across different locals. All the events being undertaken should also be amplified through the local and social media platforms of the institution. You are, therefore, once again requested to do the needful and reports with photographs and videos in this regard may be uploaded on UGC portal https://uamp.ugc.ac.in," reads UGC's notification.

About G-20 Presidency - Universe Connect

With the expectation that India's G-20 Presidency should touch every student across the country, an innovative outreach programme was proposed - "Universe Connect" in which schools and higher education institutions can involve their students in a range of events on G-20 themes spread across the year.

The programme aims to project the youth as cultural ambassadors who can build long-lasting relationships with the G-20 fraternity. This will be an opportunity for young Indians in bringing new ideas and perspectives to G-20-related topics.
