According to the MHA’s Unlock 4.0 guidelines, the partial reopening of schools for students of classes 9 to 12 on a voluntary basis to seek guidance from teachers is now allowed by the Government.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma informed that there are very bleak chances of the state government to take the decision of partial reopening of schools from September 21 as the number of coronavirus cases in the state are constantly rising. While talking to the media, Deputy Chief Minister, Dinesh Sharma stated, "It is very unlikely that schools can be allowed to function partially. It is not possible to run schools, even partially, at least, for this month. Safety of the students is a big issue and it cannot be compromised.” According to the MHA’s Unlock 4.0 guidelines, the partial reopening of schools for students of classes 9 to 12 on a voluntary basis to seek guidance from teachers is now allowed by the Government.  Various media reports state that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would be taking a final call on whether schools will reopen this month or not.

However, the latest media reports suggest that the Uttar Pradesh government, however, has no such plans to allow the partial reopening of schools. Parents are also strongly against the idea of sending their children to schools during the pandemic. Meanwhile, the UP Board is all set to conduct the UP 10th compartmental exams 2020 and UP 12th compartment exams 2020 during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. For this, the board has put in place various important steps and guidelines that ensure the safety of all students and staff members during the exams. In line with the guidelines, UP Board 10th and 12th Compartmental Exam 2020 would be conducted in strict adherence to the precautionary measures and SOPs released by the board.
