Wait for CBSE 12th Results 2022 before starting UG admissions: CBSE urges UGC

Amid delayed CBSE 12^th Results 2022, various universities including Mumbai University has commenced UG admissions. States including Tamil Nadu have also started the UG admission process for the upcoming academic year.

CBSE 12^th Results 2022 delayed: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked the University Grants Commission (UGC) to direct all institutes to commence the undergraduate (UG) admission process considering CBSE Class 12 result date 2022. Amid delayed CBSE 12^th Results 2022, various universities including Mumbai University has commenced UG admissions. States including Tamil Nadu have also started the UG admission process for the upcoming academic year.

CBSE writes letter to UGC

According to media report, CBSE wrote a letter to the UGC on June 28 stating that it required a month to prepare CBSE results 2022.

“It has come to the notice that some universities in India, especially in Maharashtra, have started registration in undergraduate courses for the session (2022-23) and their last date is in the first week of July,” CBSE in a letter to UGC said, according to the Indian Express. The CBSE Board further wrote, “It is, therefore, requested that all the universities may please be directed to fix the last date of their undergraduate admission process keeping in mind the date of result declaration of Class XII by CBSE,” as per the report. “According to sources in the UGC, the regulator will issue an advisory to all universities next week,” it added.

Mumbai University Second Merit List 2022 Released

Despite prior information, Mumbai University has released the second merit list 2022 for several MU colleges. MU second merit list 2022 has been released by the University of Mumbai affiliated colleges such as Thakur College, Rizvi College and St. Xavier’s on July 7. The document verification for Mumbai University 2022 second merit list will be held until July 13.

Mumbai University offers admissions to various undergraduate programmes such as BCom, BAF, BMS, BSc IT, BSc, Computer Science, BA, BBI and BSc Biotechnology. MU Third Merit List 2022 will be released on July 14. The document verification process for the Mumbai University 3rd merit list 2022 will be conducted from July 14 to 16.

CBSE Results 2022 for Class 10, 12 likely by July 15

According to the reports, CBSE is likely to announce the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 results by July 15, 2022.
