For admission to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses in West Bengal, Neet UG Counselling 2021 is expected to begin soon. The admission to these courses will be provided on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2021 scores.
West Bengal Neet UG Counselling 2021 process is expected to have two online rounds, followed by an offline mop round in the end for vacant seats. To participate in the counselling process, the candidates need to register themselves on the official website of WBMCC - wbmcc.nic.in. One needs to click on the 'New Registration' link to fill the application and create a profile for counselling. After filling the form, the candidates need to choose the type of domicile and pay the application fee of INR 2,000 + transaction charges for the General / Unreserved category and INR 1,500 + transaction charges for the Reserved and PWD category.
For participating in the West Bengal Neet UG Counselling, candidates must have the domicile certificate and they need to choose from the three domicile certificate options during the registration process -Proforma a1, Proforma a2, Proforma b.
Proforma a1 is for the candidates living in West Bengal continuously for 10 years or more as of December 31, 2021.
Proforma a2 is for candidates who live in WB for 10 years as of December 31, 2021, and also must have passed the class 12 examination in the year 2021 or before.
Proforma b is for candidates who are not living n WB but one of the parents is a permanent resident in Bengal.
The documents required for West Bengal Neet UG Counselling 2021 are - Age proof, class 10 and 12 mark sheet, NEET scorecard, NEET 2021 admit card, Allotment Letter, PwD certificate and caste certificate if applicable, domicile certificate and voter card/Adhaar card/passport of parents in case of domicile certificate of the parent, and acknowledgement slip.
