The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has postponed entrance exams for its BSc (H) Nursing and MSc courses in view of the rising COVID-19 cases in the country. These exams were earlier scheduled for June 14.
AIIMS has postponed entrance examinations for BSc (H) Nursing and MSc courses. “In view of the evolving situation due to Covid-19 outbreak, the competent authority of AIIMS has decided to postpone the conduct of following entrance examination scheduled in June 2021: M.SC Courses/ B.SC (H) Nursing,” read the official notice released by AIIMS.
Candidates are advised to keep a check on the institute’s official webiste, aiimsexams.ac.in, for latest updates as the new dates for these exams are yet to be announced.
The last date for registration for these exams was May 25. Those who have already applied can download their admit card from the website for which they are required to enter details such as registration number, password and security pin.
AIIMS will conduct these exams for admission to 124 MSc nursing seats, 30 Post BSc nursing seats and, 571 BSc nursing seats at all its institutes.
A series of entrance exams, including JEE Main, INI CET, NEET PG, has been postponed amid the devastating second wave of Covid-19.
