Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released detailed option form and tentative revised vacancies for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2018. Read below for complete details. 

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released detailed option form and tentative revised vacancies for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2018 exam. Candidates who have qualified for skill test and document verification are required to fill the detailed option form online. In the form, candidates need to write their name, roll number and indicate their options in order of preference separately for the posts.

While giving preference of the posts/departments, candidates should note that the Border Roads Organization (BRO) have specific requirement in terms of Physical Standards, Physical Tests and Medical Standards. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the requirement before filling the detailed option form. Measurement of Physical Standards, Physical and Medical Tests will be conducted by BRO after final selection.

Final allocation to the ministries/department will be done based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination and preferences of posts/departments given by them at the time of document verification.

Once the candidates have been allotted as per their first available preference and merit, they will not be considered for the other option. The options entered by the candidates will be considered as final and cannot be changed.

SSC Stenographer admit card 2018 has been released for skill test and document verification. The exam will be conducted on November 8, 2019. Also ReadSSC Stenographer admit card is available now.

Candidates in the skill test are given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as opted by the candidates in the online Application Form) at the speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade D.

SSC Stenographer exam is conducted to select candidates to Stenographer Grade C (Grade B Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C) for various Ministries/Departments/Organisations.
