Staff Selection Commission services now available on UMANG App

Now all services of the Staff Selection Commission will be easily available through a mobile application.

Good news for SSC aspirants! Now all services of the Staff Selection Commission will be easily available through a mobile application. The Commission confirmed the launch of the modules that comes under the Staff Selection Commission through an official notice. SSC released an official notification on its website i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/. In the notification, the Commission stated that various modules of the Staff Selection Commission’s Portal will available through a mobile app.  

The notice released by the Commission reads, ‘The following modules of the Staff Selection Commission’s Portal have also been made available on the ‘Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG)’ Platform of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).’ According to the notice, the following modules will be available for all the SSC aspirant on the mobile application ‘UMANG’:

• Latest News
• Notices of Examinations
• Results of Examinations
• Examination Calendar
• Vacancies

Earlier, candidates used to visit the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in to access info such as latest notification released by the Commission, exam related news, results related information, examination calendar, latest vacancies and more. Now, all the modules will be available on the mobile app and candidates will be informed about all the latest happenings with the help alerts.

SSC Services on UMANG APP: How to download

In order to access SSC information on UMANG app, the candidates may visit the Google Play Store (in case of Android users) or iTunes App Store (in case of Apple users) and type the ‘UMANG app’ to download the application on their mobile phones.
