AFCAT (1) 2021 application process to close on Jan 11; check how to apply

The application process of AFCAT will close on January 11. Earlier, the last date to fill the application form was December 30, 2020. However, the application deadline was extended by the Indian Air Force (IAF). AFCAT (1) application form 2021 was released on December 1, 2020.

The application fee, Rs 250 for all categories, can be paid online. While filling the AFCAT application form, candidates need to enter the Aadhaar Card number. While Aadhaar Card is optional for candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, and Meghalaya.

AFCAT 2021 exam will be conducted on February 20 and 21 across various cities in the country in multiple sessions.

The steps to fill AFCAT application form are given below.

• Visit the official website of IAF
• Click on ‘Candidate Login’ on the home page of AFCAT for sign-in
• Applicants need to select ‘Not yet Registered? Register Here’
• After successful AFCAT registration, the applicant will receive a password on their registered email ID
• Login with the registered email ID and password
• Select the type of entry, AFCAT, NCC Special Entry for Flying Branch
• Read the instructions carefully
• Click the checkbox to proceed to the next stage
• Click the ‘Application Form Filling’ link
• Fill personal information, educational qualification, enter course preference, communication details, etc.
• Upload scanned images of photograph, signature and left thumb impression
• Select the exam city
• Pay the application fees
