Territorial Army 2021 notification has been released for Civilian post. The application form will be made available on July 20. The last date to apply for the exam is August 19.

Territorial Army 2021 notification for Civilian post has been released on July 17. The application form will be available from July 20 to August 19, 2021. The territorial Army 2021 exam will be conducted on September 26 across 21 cities. Last year, the recruitment was not held due to COVID-19 pandemic.

To apply for Territorial Army 2021 exam, candidates must be citizens of India. The age of candidates should be between 18 and 42 years. Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized university. They must be gainfully employed inorder to be eligible for the exam.

Candidates applying successfully for the exam will be called for screening. The screening comprises a written exam followed by an Interview, conducted by a Preliminary Interview Board by the respective Territorial Army Group Headquarters. Successful candidates will have to further undergo tests at a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for final selection.

The exam pattern of Territorial Army for Civilians comprises two papers. Paper 1 comprises Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics and Paper 2 comprises General Knowledge and English. Each paper is held for two hours. Each section will have 50 questions and carries 50 marks. The standard of Territorial Army Syllabus for Elementary Mathematics will be of matriculation level. The standard of papers in other subjects will be of graduation level. The qualifying marks for the written exam are 40 per cent marks in each part, and the overall average is 50 per cent. 

Selected candidates will be on one month basic training in the first year of commission. They need to attend two months annual training camp every year including the first year. They need to undergo three months post commissioning training within first two years at IMA, Dehradun.
