Bihar Police Recruitment 2020: Apply for 2213 sub- inspector and sergeant vacancies now

BPSSC recruitment for 2213 sub-inspector and sergeant application has started, eligible candidates can apply at bpssc.bih.nic.in on or before September 24, 2020.

In a major recruitment drive for candidates who aspire to join the police force, Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has initiated online application process for sub-inspector and sergeant. Candidates eligible for the posts can apply at bpssc.bih.nic.in on or before September 24, 2020.

There is a total vacancy of 2213 posts, out of which 1998 vacancies are for sub-inspector and 215 for sergeant.

Candidates between 20 and 37 years of age and who have a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the posts. Age relaxation rules are applicable as per service guidelines.

Applications are being accepted online only. Candidates belonging to the unreserved category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 700. For SC and ST candidates, the registration fee is of Rs 400.

The selection process of BPSSC sub-inspector and Sergeant Recruitment involves preliminary exam followed by the main exam. Candidates scoring below 30% marks in the preliminary exam, will not be eligible to appear for the main exam. Those who clear the first two stages of the recruitment exams, will have to pass a physical standard test and physical efficiency test.

Selected candidates will be inducted under Level 6 and the admissible payout for the posts is between Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 (Level 6).
