Indian Railways will speed up the recruitment process of RRB Group D after the lockdown eases. RRB Group D new exam dates will be announced soon.

It is been one year that RRB Group D recruitment notification was released. Till date, there is no update on the exam dates. According to some sources, Indian Railways will speed up the process of RRB Group D recruitment after the lockdown eases. RRBs are in a process to finalise a private agency for conducting the exam. Railways had also invited tenders for exam conducting agency. The process had been delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that the exam agency will be decided soon.

In view of the changed situation due to COVID-19, RRBs will conduct the Group D exam by following guidelines such as social distancting, sanitization of centres, biometric/frisking, etc. Prior to the release of RRB Group D admit card, the examination authority will activate the link for exam city and date. Four days before the exam, RRB Group D admit card will be released. Candidates can download the admit card online by logging into their account.

RRB Group D exam pattern for CBT is divided into four sections: General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. The total duration of the test is 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by the scribe). The test paper will have 100 objective type multiple-choice questions. A total of 1.15 crore candidates had registered for RRB Group D Exam. More than 1 lakh vacancies have been announced for the recruitment exam.
