RRB NTPC & Group D 2020 exams are likely to be conducted by the end of this year. The entire process of selecting the recruitment agency will be completed by May 20.

The Railway Recruitment Board is going to conduct the RRB NTPC and Group D exams by the end of this year. According to the media reports, the tender bidding process for Exam Conducting Agency (ECA) will be concluded by the mid of May. The entire process of selecting the recruitment agency will be completed by May 20.

Once the Exam Conducting Agency is finalized, the board will conduct a meeting with it on the dates of conducting the examination. If everything goes well, the recruitment examination for both RRB Group D and NTPC will be conducted by the end of this year.

The selection process of RRB Group D includes CBT, PET, Document Verification and Medical Examination. The selection process of RRB NTPC includes 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination.

A total of 1,03,769 vacancies have been announced for RRB Group D against which RRBs have received 1,15,67,248 applications. A total of 35,208 vacancies have been announced for RRB NTPC against which a total of 1,26,30,885 applications were received.

RRB NTPC is conducted for recruitment to the post of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master.

RRB Group D exam is conducted for recruitment to the various posts such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant Pointsman in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix in various departments of Indian Railways.
