SSC CGL 2019-20 Tier-I result (Declared): How to check result & cutoff

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced SSC CGL 2019-20 tier-I result today, July 1 at ssc.nic.in. Along with the result, SSC CGL cut off for tier-I has also also been made available to candidates. The result is available in the form of merit list. The roll numbers of qualified candidates have been made available in PDF form. On the basis of SSC CGL 2019-20 Tier-I result, candidates will be selected for Tier-II exam.

The revised SSC CGL 2019-20 exam dates for Tier-II was announced. The exam will be held from October 12-15. SSC CGL Tier-I exam was conducted from March 3 to 9, 2020. According to media reports, more than 25 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam.

How to check SSC CGL 2019-20 Tier-I result & cut off?

Listed below are the simple steps to check SSC CGL 2019-20 Tier-I result and cutoff.

• Visit the official website of SSC
• Go to the results section and click on CGL tab
• Click the result link
• A PDF will open
• Search for your name and roll number in the PDD
• To check SSC CGL cut off, click the result write-up
• The cut off will be displayed category-wise and post-wise
• Download and save both the files for future reference

SSC CGL 2019-20 result will display exam name, post names, roll numbers and names of qualifying candidates, category codes of qualifying candidates and category names. SSC CGL final answer key is released after reviewing the objections submitted by candidates. The result is prepared based on the final answer key.  Qualified candidates will be issued SSC CGL admit card 2019-20 for appearing in Tier-II exam.

Earlier, SSC CGL Tier-I result was expected to be announced in April. However, the result was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic and nation-wide lockdown.
